What is a good resume match score?
Aim for 60% or above. A score of 60–79% gives you a solid foundation; 80% or higher significantly improves your chances of passing automated ATS screening. Below 40% usually means the resume needs meaningful keyword additions before applying.
How is the match score calculated?
The checker compares meaningful keywords (skills, tools, job titles, and domain terms) between your resume and the job description. Common words are filtered out. The score is the percentage of significant JD keywords that also appear in your resume.
