Question 1

What is WowThisCV.com and how does it help my career?

Accepted Answer

WowThisCV is an AI-powered resume enhancement platform. It strengthens your bullet points, highlights quantified impact, and aligns phrasing to role requirements so your resume gets seen and considered by recruiters and hiring managers.

Question 2

How does the AI resume enhancement actually work?

Accepted Answer

Upload your CV (PDF) or paste it, and optionally add the job title you are applying for. Our AI analyzes structure, verbs and metrics, then rewrites your own content to be stronger and clearer. The job title only decides what goes first: the rewrite never adds keywords or claims your resume does not support.

Question 3

Can I use this for a career change or different industries?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Add your target job title and the AI puts the experience most relevant to it first, in your own words. To use an industry's terms, add them yourself where they are true for you: your ATS check lists the missing keywords.

Question 4

How accurate is the AI enhancement? Should I review it?

Accepted Answer

The AI follows current hiring best practices, but you should always review and edit to ensure the tone and details reflect your authentic experience.

Question 5

What is Fix My CV?

Accepted Answer

Fix My CV gives you full ATS checks, AI enhance on up to 3 resumes, and 5 download credits (PDF or DOCX). No subscription required. One payment, no time limit.

Question 6

How is Fix My CV different from a subscription?

Accepted Answer

Fix My CV is a one-time payment with no time limit. You can enhance across up to 3 saved resumes, then download up to 5 times. No automatic renewal, no cancellation needed. The Job Application Sprint ($39/month) gives you ongoing unlimited access as long as you stay subscribed.

Question 7

Can I use Fix My CV again after downloading?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You have 5 download credits, and your access continues until all 5 are used. You can purchase Fix My CV again at any time for a fresh set of 5 credits and 3 resume slots.

Question 8

What happens after I download with Fix My CV?

Accepted Answer

After each download, one credit is used. You have 5 download credits in total. Access continues until all 5 are spent. All your saved CVs remain accessible in the dashboard. Once all credits are used, purchase again or subscribe for more.

Question 9

Can I upgrade from Fix My CV to a monthly subscription?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You can subscribe at any time. If you have an active Fix My CV access when you subscribe, your subscription will continue beyond your current download.

Question 10

Which plan should I choose?

Accepted Answer

Choose Fix My CV ($19) if you need to perfect your CV quickly for upcoming applications. The Job Application Sprint ($39/month) is the best fit for active job seekers applying to multiple roles. Cancel anytime.

Question 11

Do you offer refunds?

Accepted Answer

Fix My CV purchases are not refundable due to instant digital delivery. Monthly and annual subscriptions include a 30-day money-back guarantee from the start of the subscription. If checkout fails or a file fails to generate, email support and we’ll fix delivery.

Question 12

What are the Free plan limits?

Accepted Answer

1 ATS check and 1 AI enhancement for the lifetime of your account. No monthly reset.

Question 13

What’s included in Premium (Fix My CV or subscription)?

Accepted Answer

Fix My CV ($19 one-time) includes full ATS checks, AI enhance on up to 3 resumes, and 5 PDF/DOCX download credits. The Job Application Sprint ($39/month) adds unlimited downloads, tailored resumes per role, the application tracker, and interview prep.

Question 14

Do Free plan limits reset monthly?

Accepted Answer

No. Free plan limits are lifetime totals, not monthly. Once you use the Free actions, you’ll need Fix My CV or a subscription to continue.

Question 15

I’m already over the Free limits. What happens?

Accepted Answer

You keep everything you’ve already saved. If you’re over Free limits (for example, more saved resumes than the Free plan allows), you simply won’t be able to add more unless you get Fix My CV or subscribe.

Question 16

Can I cancel my subscription anytime?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Cancel anytime from your account settings and you’ll keep access until the end of your current billing period.

Question 17

Is my resume data secure? What happens to my uploaded CV?

Accepted Answer

Uploads are processed over encrypted connections and are not used to train third-party models. We minimize retention and follow GDPR/CCPA principles. See the Privacy Policy for full details.

Question 18

Do you sell my personal data?

Accepted Answer

No. We do not sell your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Question 19

Do you use my resume to train AI models?

Accepted Answer

No. We don’t use your personal resume content to train our models or third-party models. It’s processed only to generate the results you request.

Question 20

How long do you keep uploaded resumes?

Accepted Answer

Resumes you upload and the data from anonymous checks are kept until you delete them or delete your account. To delete data from a check you ran without an account, email support@wowthiscv.com.

Question 21

How can I access or delete my data?

Accepted Answer

You can delete saved resumes and your account from your profile. Deleting your account removes your account and everything in it: resumes, ATS reports, cover letters, outreach messages, applications and interview prep. You can also email support@wowthiscv.com to request access, export or correction.

Question 22

What does 'ATS-optimized' mean and why do I need it?

Accepted Answer

Most companies use Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) to parse and rank resumes. ATS-optimized content and formatting improve parsing, keyword matching, and relevance so humans actually see your application.

Question 23

How do I find the right keywords for my industry?

Accepted Answer

Run the ATS checker against your target job description to see which keywords your resume is missing, then browse our free resume keyword lists by role.

Question 24

How do I check if my resume will pass ATS systems?

Accepted Answer

Run an ATS Compatibility Check for a structured report of issues and suggestions. Fix My CV and the Job Application Sprint include full ATS checks, so you can check each version of your CV.

Question 25

Can I check multiple versions of my CV?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Fix My CV and the Job Application Sprint both include full ATS checks, so you can check each version of your CV.

Question 26

What file formats do you support?

Accepted Answer

Upload: PDF for consistent parsing. Download: enhanced content can be exported in PDF and DOCX formats (Premium only).

Question 27

How long does processing take?

Accepted Answer

Most enhancements complete in 1–3 minutes; ATS checks usually finish in under 30 seconds. Timing varies with resume length and current load.

Question 28

What technology powers WowThisCV.com?

Accepted Answer

We use Next.js/React on the frontend, Firebase for secure data storage, and advanced AI models for content enhancement and ATS analysis. All data is processed with industry-standard security practices.
